Hailing from Hungary, Norbi Szakács aka NorB grew up listening to trance, before discovering progressive and melodic house, where his primary focus sits today.
Although early into his journey as a producer, NorB already lays claim to an enviable discography.
In collaboration with Canadian producer and vocalist juSt b, NorB first emerged in 2022 with ‘Different Places’, a 3-track showcase via John Digweed’s Bedrock Records.
Immediately noted for his timeless approach, the track would go on to feature on John’s ‘Live in London’ and ‘Quattro III’ collections, while the b-side ‘Close Your Eyes’, featured on the label’s year end retrospective.
Balance Music would then serve as home for the duo’s lone 2023 production ‘At This Moment’, a track which Henry Saiz would remodel for his ‘Balance 032′ collection.
Moving forward, 2024 would find NorB continuing his creative partnership with juSt b, with the duo signing productions to ICONYC, Stellar Fountain and Stripped Digital, the latter of which rounded out the year in impressive fashion across three well-received tracks.
At the beginning of 2025, NorB adds Sound Avenue to his resume with a track-track solo showcase, Dharma, alongside remixes from Andres Moris, Haen, and Drekaan.
